the camp wasn't fun at all. being students really suck at the point where you have to lead a bunch of not-cooperating students. but i had fun with the trainers. haa

i've missed important lessons like physics and chemistry, things like waves and ironic bonding. all missed. then i have a pile of hmw waiting for me to do.

JUST WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE SEC 2s THIS YEAR?.

taking over 2A is like living in hell. you have people who doesn't want to listen to instructions, take their own sweet time to get the job done. i have to yell at them for more than 4 times just to get 20 of them to form a circle. is forming a circle really that difficult to do?.

all leaders have lost their voices, most of them. on the other hand, during the night of the debrief with the leaders and the students alone, some of them claim that they have lost their voices as well. like, come on larrh, what have you all done compared to the leaders?. your class is not united at all. just walking in 2 straight rows from one place to another, 40 people can actually split themselves into more than 5 lil groups, stroll and walk.

this batch of people is worse than the Wellington Primary. we leaders get to bathe only at around 1 plus in the morning and sleep around 4, waking up at 6. while you pathetic sec 2 students bathe around 10 plus nearing 11, sleep at 12 plus, and wake up at 7. and you are still complaining that you do not have enough time to sleep.

next we have the next bunch of people : the inconsiderate ones. last year for the Sec 2' 05 cohort camp, we serve food to our own cohort. for this year, we leaders have to serve food for you students of sec 2. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?. we might as well be called as slaves rather than leaders. people going for 2nd serving and resulted in leaders having not enough food. eating on vegatables for dinner.

this is the worst camp i've ever attended although i've not attended many. having the incorrect attitude towards the camp, and we leaders have to suffer along with you. give me a break larrh.

thought from this camp i can actually make new friends from the cohort. but it was actually totally impossible cause once if i were to become friendly with them, they climb over your head. teamed up with Guo Xi, Wei Ru and Zackery. haa. all leaders to adopt the " Guo Xi " method. he actually pumped students from 2A although he's not from a ug cca. haa

activities like the Mum's not cooking a.k.a outdoor cooking. see one lil bug all scream like mad. they just do not know how fortunate they were. sleeping in tennis courts. we had to sleep on wooden planks placed on muddy floor and whole body covered with mud during the Nature Ramble last year. i bet that if the camp were to be at Sarimbun again, all of them would have fainted right on the spot of arrival.

" The Pampered and Take-Things-For-Granted Generation " - that's what i call them. complain about food quality and sleeping conditions. stand under the sun for only a few seconds then start complaining. complained about showering time. we leaders could bathe less than 2 minutes. they were given more than that and they were already complaining as if they weren't given time to shower at all.

the toilets were like so high-class that there was actually air-con and sofa inside. similar to those of a country club. even with that, they could actually complain. it's like WTH?. those conditions of the toilet were a thousand times better than those in Sarimbun and they could actually make a fuss of what they had.

but after all, some people in the class that i took charge have indeed done a great job despite the fact that the class weren't really united in my point of view. people like syakir and richny are being identified as potential leaders. haa. so cangratulations to them if they get selected to take charge of next year's cohort camp. i really don't know what would the condition of the camp be like and the condition of the sec 2s next year.

i totally agree to terence's statement to a large extent : The leaders' spirit totally overwhelmed the pathetic spirit of the sec 2s.

this year sec 3 leaders, i should say we have been a very united batch of leaders. One for All, All for One. haa. the last night of the camp was fun. slept in the kiddies room which had air-con and all of us had a good time laughing before sleeping. singing to the theme song of Pokemon, and when waking up, we have the Doremon song played. haa. it was damn funny i'm actually laughing now when i'm thinking of it.

still thinking back of what happened during the leadership camp. haa. damn fun. i bathed with a person whom i have a very strong frienship with, capsizing the kayak with someone whom i did not expect to be able to expirience that kind of moment with, working with people whom i have built a strong foundation of friendship. Spending a total of 5D3N with all the leaders, including trainers.

Life could be fulfilling and meaningful, but on the other hand it could be empty and lost at times. but for me, the 2 camps are definitely a fulfilling and meaningful one. with memories to be kept close to my heart, or should i say kept eternally in my heart, and never be forgetten as it's already part of my brain.

so what if we leaders are packed with more hmw than the others, need to rush in order to catch up with we have missed during lessons and we are tired?.

this is a scene of us in the kiddies room. before sleeping.

the kiddies merry-go-round

amirul sleeping. he didn't know that i took his pic. haa.
