Chinese and Sleeping

Ahh, it has been a while since I updated. Don't really have much time recently. Going back to school's a change in lifestyle for most of us as we got used to the holidays. Then came piles of homework, on and on.

Change of timetable and respective teachers. I have a chinese teacher who looks like a guy and an english teacher who's 28 and shorter than me.

In who's lesson would I sleep you ask.

Obviously Chinese larrh. =)

Miss Ong has already retired and gone back to Malaysia to enjoy herself I guess. And I don't think she's ever going to come back and teach. She's the 2nd best chinese teacher that has ever taught me. In 1st place would be Zhao, who went to Raffles Girl's to teach.

Why Miss Ong's that good :
1) We don't have to hand in any holiday homework when the other AGs do.

2) She makes lessons interesting enough for us to enjoy.

3) I manage to keep awake for 80% throughout her lessons.

4) She's a nice person, although she doesn't show the good side of her during school time.

5) She doesn't give us tests like the other AG teachers do. The paper that the other AG have for tests are actually our practices.

6) She knows how to crack jokes.

That's all I can think for now. But it's already more than enough to show how good she is. However, she has the pms-ing side of her, but she doesn't show it most of the time.

Just to emphasise on how IMPORTANT pt 3 is : I've realised about 2 days ago that I can now fall asleep during lessons very easily, just by one condition : Sitting under the fan.

Sitting at Yap Seng's seat during chinese really makes me wonder how he manages to keep awake everyday. This new chinese teacher has just only been through 2 lessons with us and I slept almost throughout the 2 lessons. This proves that the fan is not a factor.

The teacher is.

Mrs Chee finally started teaching 3C Chemistry, taking over Mrs Tan. Some of you might say that having bad results ain't the teacher's fault. Why don't you compare your marks with mine, then with your teacher and mine? I don't need to say any further.

Mrs Tan just walked around the Chemistry Lab to make sure that we're doing our work. I do pity her actually. Got driven out of teaching of class due to our horrendous results. But guess she took it as a chance for her to relax, cause now she has only 3A to handle.

Vacuum Porn???

I really wonder what were they discussing about.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Here's a little song I wrote,
you might want to sing it note for note.
Don't worry, be happy

In every life we have some trouble,
when you worry you make it double.
Don't worry, be happy
Dont worry be happy now

Dont worry, be happy
Dont worry, be happy
Dont worry, be happy
Dont worry, be happy

Aint got no place to lay your head,
somebody came and took your bed.
Don't worry, be happy

The landlord say your rent is late,
he may have to litagate,
Dont worry (small laugh) be happy.

Look at me I'm happy,
don't worry, be happy.

I give you my phone number,
when your worried, call me,
I make you happy.
Don't worry, be happy.

Aint got no cash, aint got no style,
aint got no gal to make you smile.
But don't worry, be happy.

Cos when you worry, your face will frown,
and that will bring everybody down.
So don't worry, be happy.

Don't worry, be happy now...
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now.

Ahh, I'm so in love with this song now. It might be some oldie song, however it's worth listening to. Just a little to say now, just feel like changing my skin. Yeah, finally, some of you might say. I'm gonna change to something like Amirul's but not the same, but as in bright colours and simple. I've been stuck with black for a long time so it's a change now.

When I'm tired of bright colours I'll get back to this skin again. Ha.

Eating fish and targetting cute kids

Finally another outing before the school reopens.

Until I have yet to finish my own pile of homework, so rushing through all of them is the last resort. This is how Singapore students work, well, mostly. Only those who are exceptional are those really nerdy and guai ones who will finish all the homework on the first week. Okay, that's definitely not me.

Went out with Rachel and Jing Han today for Fish & Co. And I met with Jing Han first. Maybe a lil note about her before I forget : She really eats a lot. I'm not gonna say how much she ate, well, just imagine.

Met with Jing Han first and we walked around PP for a while. Sat down at the bench outside the toilet, the area which has the Sri Nada Barber just opposite.

That's a picture of Brat Pitt. I hate his hair.

And while doing so we only realised that cameras were not allowed in the compound due to security reasons. Terrorists and all. Yet, no one stopped us from taking pictures. This shows how stupid a sigh can be when it's up there and no actions are carried out. Might as well take it down. Makes no difference up there right?

We didn't know what programme PP was having, so at the basement, meaning the first level, they has this Gransazers : The pirated version of Power Rangers. Power Rangers are still much better and original. And then they had these two characters jumping around this pathetic small stage trying to amuse the kids. However, HOWEVER.. All the kids at the audience area just sat there and stared at them. Seriously funny.

I mean, if you're a fan of smth, you would scream and shout for it right, let alone be kids. They're wilder in nature, agree? Yet, all I saw were stares.

Ever saw the guy wearing in black before? Looks familiar right?
Let's look nearer.

Seen him before?

After all the jumping and fooling around on stage, it was a handshake and photo-taking session.

Target : Cute kids

Ha. After that we went to meet Rachel for a meal at Fish & Co. A couple of pictures, I mean, I took a lot. I feel so restricted now, cause they told me not to post any pictures. So yeah, I have to wait to see which ones are the " Green light, give it a go " ones. Of course, there are still some that I can show. Sorry, I mean only one.

A creation by my twin!

Ice-Skating

There is always one point about girls that guys understand but forget only when it happens and we procastinate.

Girls are always late. This post is not meant to be against females, but I guess you girls do admit that you all are always late right? May it be you being in the bathrooom for too long and left the house later, or whatever it may be, you all will make the guys wait.

Next time we guys should take the initiative to shift the meeting time by at least 1 and a half hours earlier. Ha.

Ice-skating with 2E peeps today and only a few of us went and the meeting place was at City Hall. I couldn't imagine what time would we reach Jurong East if the meeting place was at Bedok Mrt. Take you around 1 hr to get there. Now, you don't want that.

I had to buy gloves before going in cause I don't have any at home. My family's poor so we can't afford to go any winter countries. Any person would be out of his/her mind if they were to buy winter gloves for a weather like in Singapore.

That stupid gloves cost me S$5 and it was called " Magic Gloves ". Think I'm going deaf already with music blasting into my ear almost everyday, I had to ask the shop keeper at least thrice on what's the difference between the magic and non-magic ones. So the guy gave me this ans:

" The magic gloves can stretch" [ I'll post the pic on how small it is ]
I looked at it and I realised its purpose. Cause it looked like a kid's glove to me, meant for those 5-6 year old ones.

I'm a beginner and the pros are people like Nicholas and Sophia. Skating together holding hands. May we should get them together to join a competition. And Sophia went around looking for cute lil boys. Ha. I can't deny the fact that thet're cute also. They had this metal bar to aid them in skating but some of the kids didn't know how to skate so they stayed at the same position.

I'm not being mean but these are the cute and fun moments when you're a child.
Youth - When's it's gone, it's gone. It doesn't come back.

Ahh, one more thing: I just hate it when girls scream when I'm skating. Not really hate, but just don't like. Ha. I often get distracted by the screaming and I'll fall. Seriously, don't play man.

Amirul and Sophia then took me along with them, they were like pulling me along. Not many people can move me on land, guess I'm at a disadvantage on ice. And she started asking me weird qns. Ha. Okay, now I don't really rmb what she asked me in detail, but I know some of the qns I don't have answers now. So, yah..

Sophia then asked what kind of girl we want our spouse or girlfriend to be. For Amirul, Please turn to the Book of Cherietopia Land, Chapter_:_ - " For in every Amirul Idham Shah you find [ there's only one actually ], you find a girl with BEAUTIFUL EYES, BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND DARN FREAKING CUTE BEYOND CUTE. "

You have an answer? Go press the buzzer and talk to yourself. I have no prize for you. Ha

Well, for me I did say a girl with character would be suitable for me. Of course got more, but I didn't say. Okay, character wise, okay, I don't know why I said that when I don't know how to describe in the first place, I take back my words.

Aiyah, Choices allow for true love. That's all I have to say for now. Can't think properly. My sense of judgement has been affected due to the falling on my butt while skating. Okay, I know, no link, but that's the only lame explanation I can come up with for now.

Amirul said that he can't imagine me being an ice-skater. I know, cause I'll nvr be one. haa. Not for me larrh. More of a girl's sport. See those guy ice-skaters when they go for competition, all look so flat and gay.

Ronald would have breakdanced there if he went. Saw this adult, or maybe young adult, pia kia that kind with one palm on the ice and his body went in circles. What's that anyway?

Kitson got hurt and from what I know he doesn't need any stitches but he'd be expecting a high fever soon. He's quite calm actually, when it happened. Brave guy, a military pilot wannabe.

Yeah, that's how the day ended with a train ride home and I still got the stupid gloves with me. I feel so cheated man. Some stupid magic gloves for S$5 and there's actually holes. You can even see your hand through it. Thumbprint, nice and clear. I'll nvr gonna patronise that stupid shop again.

Basket.

BBQ cum Saving Money idea

Yeah, so here I am back from the BBQ organised by Sue-ann. So I would like to thank her for giving the 3C people a chance to have fun and bond at the same time.

First of all, I regret saying this but : I've failed to take a picture of Mr Tchen's baby. Man, he said he was going to call me regarding the pit number and the area. He lied to me. haa. He went there quite early and he didn't stay and eat anything. His baby was strapped to his body and in front of his chest. Wonder how the baby looks like.

I was late cause due to CG in church and restructuring. But all matters of God and church comes first though. But I had a great time absorbing from what Charleston said.

___________________________________________________________________

Alright, as I was saying about the BBQ, yeah, we had a great time and played wacko in the dark and on the sand. Alright, since so many people are writing what happened on their blogs, I shall be a nice soul and not talk about it on my blog.

So yeah, Shi Xiang, I've done what I can. But it was funny though.

Kept the fire going with the economical way. There wasn't a need to add charcoal or stuff. We actually fried some stuff till black. and I tell ya, the fire was burning strong and fierce. I mean, only at the pit area. haa.

Go guess what we burnt

Yeah. We actually played games like Dog-and-bone. Yeah, I know it's old school and only kids play those games. However, that doesn't mean that we can't play? It's good to stay young ya know. The game was played based on numbers called and my opponent was Jing Mei.

Yeah, as you know when you're playing a game with girls. There's always something that it wouldn't be if not without it :

The screaming.

She ran forward and I too. I screamed and yeah, just kept screaming. I felt so high after that. I finally understand what a difference it would be if not for the screaming. The game would be dead. All I know is that I went there to have fun, so if you have a problem with me screaming during the game, I suggest you take a hike.

I wanna enjoy myself.

Speaking about games, it's Food-Cross tmr. Ahh. It always seems to me that we push our hmw back cause the first 2 weeks are most likely to be occupied by school. And the rest of the 2 weeks are your personal stuff. When do we have time to do our homework? Sigh, good time-management though.

Emptiness

Rachel left for Hong Kong and the weather didn't change pretty much for the better. It's always raining, well, most of the day. And when it rains, it pisses down like it has never done so before. You get what I mean.

Emptiness

I just watched the comedy show on youtube again. Yes, again. And like I said, I watch them to amuse myself. Okay, so what do you we assume about comedy shows when you hear about it? You expect it to be funny right? If these guys ain't funny, nobody would want to attend their stand-up comedy shows and they won't have any chance to earn their living.

But this guy's different. He's a comedian, however, he has a serious ending message. It got me thinking real deep after hearing it. I quote it out of what he said.

" You gotta understand, what makes life beautiful is the essence of the fact
that it can go away. So you don't want to live like that. You don't want to be a
person do you, that have a fight, an inconsequential insignificant stupid fight
with your spouse, on who's suppose to turn off the light at that bed time?

So you did it, but you were angry. You were darn angry with your wife. Not
cause it was real, but how? We'll make up later and the morning you woke up and
things will still bad, but you kept that. Cause hey, I'm gonna come back
and we're gonna do it.

And then what happened? You went to your building, sadly on that 90th floor
and that ( Sept 11 ) happened and you're never gonna go back home again. And the
best you could do is to call your woman/man and say " I love you ".

And you miss that last night. Why? Cause you thought it would last
forever.

See, every comedy show that you've been to ends with a big joke cause that's
what you need. I end with a big joke, you laugh, we'll say good night, and
that's how it's suppose to be.

But that ain't life my friends. If you learn anything from me, learn one
thing:

That sometimes, sometimes. . . . . . "

And that's how it ended. Unique huh? All you expect from a comedy show at the end is a big joke and you laugh at it. And it's just bye bye.

What he said was so true. Think about it. It all comes down to this simple theory and has been repeated and said a thousand times: Treasure what you have. Sometimes you get used to doing something, and somehow one day it isn't there anymore. What do you do?

You blame yourself for not treasuring that person/thing.

September 11 was a tragedy in the history of Man and many lost their lives. People in the building trying to escape death, some even tried their luck by jumping off the window. There was this article in Readers' Digest last year or is it 2 years ago, about this guy in his 20s who was actually in the plane before it crashed, left his wife, daughter and family behind.

He managed to be in contact with his wife before the plane crashed into the building. Wonder have you read that. TK people should have came across that, cause it was ordered through the school.

And I was saying, he contacted his wife through the phone on the plane and it was a conversation. And what words meant to his wife the most, was these 3 words : I love you. Can't remember whether he hung up after saying that.

3 simple words with a common objective of expressing one's feelings, but it was delicate and meaningful. Priceless.

He was in the exact same situation of what the comedian had decribed. Everyone on the plane had this thought of going home safely. They all knew they were going home, but they didn't expect that things would turn out that way.

What would you do if you were the guy? I certainly do not hope so. Yet, what if..? Hog on the phone and whine how unlucky you are and you're gonna kill those terrorist, or what? Spend quality time with your loved one upon realising that you only have a few moments to share and time to spare before it's over?

What do you think you would do?

The Day I was born ; 15 years later

Yeah. Today's my birthday and it's coming to an end now. With like half an hour more to go.

First of all I would like to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday from the bottom from my heart, people who smsed me, people who wished me on msn and I love you all always. haa. Don't worry, I'm still straight. I even received an overseas sms. haa. Popped me by surprise.

Secondly, I would like to thank my mum, Rachel. I didn't expect a phone call and I'm really suprised and feeling over the moon when I received her call. It was midnight then and I thought everyone would be in their dreamland. I mean, what else can I expect from her? She's a perfect and wonderful mum that any son would be yearning to have.

I'm one lucky guy.

I also wanna thank Jing Han for accompanying me throughout the day and even went to find my no. so that she could wish me happy birthday. We have many things in common, realised somemore of them today and we really live up to our relationship of being twins. haa

Thirdly, I wanna thank the BD for having a celebration in church for me. Namely Jason, Andrew, Ming Rong and Michelle I think. Thanks loads and Andrew, yeah, I like that card that you chose. That depicts the gentle side of me. haa

Lastly, I would really want to express myself now. Sorry if I get too emotional cause I am emotional when I got to know this.

Thanks _______ for what you have done. The effort that you have put in, the time that you have invested in, and the energy that you have spent on it. I'm not gonna say much on this cause it's private and yeah, I'll talk to you more on it when I'm back. yeah _______? You really make my life perfect and wonderful.
__________________________________________________________________________

Yeah, so I went Sake Sushi for dinner with my family at Parkway and I really like the new look of the basement. It looks very high-class those kind. And I tell ya, if you wanna shop for CDs go to Gramaphone.

They even have a sofa and a wide screen. You can just sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

I went there while waiting for the food and by the way, those two people on the picture aren't related to me in any way. I was just trying to get a pic without anyone noticing so I had to go behind them.

Tepanyki ( Is this the correct spelling? ) was for my dinner and actually, it wasn't filling for me. haa. But the food there tasted good. Especially the garlic rice. It wouldn't be Jap food if not for the garlic rice.

Garlic rice's my favourite. * Saliva drolling *

That's salmon. Cooked in a sauce. I would rather it be raw. Sashimi. haa.

I waited for my onion to come and I decided to do something as I was kind of bored then. So here was what I came up with :

The BIRTHDAY SMILE

That's the chef doing his job.

I'll be leaving the house at 3 plus AM for the stupid airport, which I have to be there around 4 plus AM. This is my first time taking a flight so early. You're darn right it's early. The sun has yet to rise ya know! And from then my blog will be inactive till the 11th ( Hopefully )

And yeah, THANKS once again everyone! =)

Undescribable

ahhhhh. darn, my trip overseas is on. DARN IT. 6 days.. 6 DAYS!

I'll have to miss the CG.. why? I have yet to comeplete my holiday homework yet.. Shoot.

I'll come up with a new blog skin pic before I leave. Sigh, I just hate to leave when everything's in my life is planned and when I'm ready to commit I have to leave. This is kind of stupid.. darn.

Another one's leaving for Japan tmr night. *knocking my head against the wall*

WHY?! WHY?! WHY?!

Sometimes I really have to admit that I can't work well with lower sec people. Especially in a CCA like Computer Club. Not much discipline and order. In the end you have lower sec pupils you end up being inmature, it's like half of the year already? Still doesn't seem to have any progress from last year.

You have people throwing Lego parts at each other and irritating one another. They're going for a competition and yet they don't take it seriously. Being a Chairman is crap, all you get is 5 CCA points.

I was a baby-sitter today. My job was to make sure that they don't misbehave while a outside vendor came in to teach. I didn't do my job, cause I really don't feel like doing so. Instead, I was doing flash. That was what my teacher-in-charge told me to do. But she didn't say I must do both. So it ain't my fault also.

I was searching through the Project Work Drive and I found my flash work in almost every group's folder. They even used my flash work in their own website. WTH???!!!!!

YOU ALL GOT NO ORGINALITY IN DOING YOUR OWN FLASH ARH? BLOODY HELL. IF NOT BECAUSE THE DRIVE WAS PROTECTED I WOULD HAVE DELETED ALL OF THEM!

BASKET.

This totally pissed me off. So many freaking Flash pro in the lower sec level if you don't realise, and yet they have to use mine. Basket.

Must be that stupid varsha or pratima's idea. If Mr Yang was here I don't think he would agree on that.

Anyway, I found quite a number of pictures for the Games Carnival but they were never realised or sent to the people who were in it. So I took the liberty to save them in my thumbdrive. haa. I pay school fees okay. ( Although I don't see any link. haa )

I'll post them up here once I have them edited. They didn't even rotate those pictures which they took at a different angle.
