It's him

Hi everyone. Meet Amirul

Not even words can describe our frienship and the things that we went through together. We have been hurt together, we have smiled together, we laughed together.

Just for clarification about saying girls are fickle-minded. No offence to the girls in general, but sometimes, we guys suffer too. Men, being macho and all, working to meet the needs of the family and all. However, there are also times where we suffer. Men are also human too.

There are situations which we guys have to sit there and watch while everything takes place. We absolutely CAN'T do anything. When we do, people will take it as being possessive( most of the time it backfires ) and when we don't, we'll lose someone that we treasure dearly.

I rather let other people speak ill of me rather than losing that someone whom I treasure a lot. With all the efforts that we put in, most of the time, things don't work out too.

Unconditional love, I say to it.

After all that had happened, all that we can do is to sit there and watch her leave for whom she wants to be with.. And we're contented as long as she feels happy on the inside and outside.

As he opened up to me, I could feel what he felt on the inside cause I've been there before. I felt him. That pain, cannot be measured and can't be compared to other things like losing an object that you are in love with. It's more than that. It's about losing someone, a person and losing that love. That's like slamming another when one is already hard enough to bear.

Amirul, you will move on with life and succeed in greater things, acheiving to greater heights, soaring so high like you've nvr done before.

Our friendship is true and for real. You have kept my feelings and emotions true and raw.

I thank you too. =)

Bengnified

Sometimes when you think back of the things that you do in the past, you would feel kind of ashamed of yourself. May it be shameful or stupid things that you have done to others or to yourself. After that, you try to shut down this memory from reappearing into your mind.

Will it work? I guess not. I'm not a doctor but I'm sure that you can't control your mind. Just like an example: When I ask you not to think of a pink elephant, what happens?

In your mind, an image of a pink elephant is projected in your mind. You can't help but think of it right? It's a human instinct and it's natural.

Speaking about bad memories, I have lots of them. Too many in fact. They can't be erased cause it's impossible. However, the pain can be taken away. It can be done through Jesus Christ.

Read on how I've changed
here.

I thank God for who I am now. I owe all these to Him.

Anyway, wanna know how does a real Beng in a school, for an example, TKSS, look like?

I have a friend, who's being famous for being an Italian Mafia but the only thing is that he looks like one but not one. Imagine everyone having a gun in S'pore..

Woah, look so cool right? Any of the girls around wanna marry an Italian Mafia? There's one right here!

On top of all that, I can say that teenagers in S'pore are much better thinkers than the rest of the other generations. We are creative, fast, quick, alert and best of all, RESOURCEFUL.

What makes me say that?

This made me say so.

We make use of the resources that we have and we go to that extra mile. That crane is worth at least 10 -15 bowls of rice? It came to a waste when I heard that the owner brought it home instead of submitting it. I wonder how the people at Song He would respond to that.

Different

Long day today. A very long day. Considering that I slept throughout the morning, afternoon and only waking up at 7.30 to find myself growing older by 10 hours without having the need to do anything.

Overnight Prayer Meeting was a blast, but I'll talk about it in the later part of this post.

Just a couple of pictures I would like to update,

This is the love that was expressed out by a mother of one, whose name is Rachel and her love was supported by her son, Roderick. Together, we are the 2 Rs of 3C. Haha.

Yeah, my life would be boring without my mum by my side in school everyday.

Cards, cards and more cards are being played in school nowadays. Although the school rule says no bringing of poker cards, I can bet you that in every class, there's at least one pack of poker cards. However, no gambling is involved, I guess. Definitely not in my class.

Haha, look at the cards that she have. People might have caught her for bluffing although she told the truth about her cards. Come'on, everyone's guilty of playing cards in school.

School's gonna end soon, with tmr being the second last day of school. What a year. Everything passed by so fast and quick, as though yesterday was just the first day of school for the year 2006. I had blast throughout the year, despite of the examinations, the weekly class tests and the extra lessons after school. Especially for CHEMISTRY.

How fruitful has the year been? Very, I can say to that. Very fruitful. 3C's a class, with everyone bonded together so closely like as though 2 parts of metal were to be joined together through silver soldering. Not bad right, I still remember my D&T syllabus. I will elaborate further on that on Thursday.

Since Xiao Xuan has it on her blog, I might as well put it here as well.

This is the significance and pride of 3C and we are proud of it. You can eaither get it from me through msn or you can go to Xiao Xuan's blog to get it. =)

Being a beginner in guitar is fun, but there are some things you have to sacrifice. For example, your skin. People who play guitar will know that in time, your skin will actually tear. That's one sacrifice. And the other is money. It may be money to buy a guitar, or a tuner. It's something else. It's the money to buy picks.

Now you see it together.

Now you don't.

It's not my fault right? It just broke. Not that I can't relax smth. Then came overnight prayer and I left for home last night. And something struck me when I saw something.

I ask myself, where is the Kacang Puteh man?

I no longer see the Ice-cream man nor the Kacang Puteh man at the Mrt Station anymore. I don't buy anything from them at all but thinking, Eunos Mrt now has 7-11 and other shops like QQ Bread and Mr Bean, so I guess the people who are trying to make a living by riding their stores around are being kicked away. Do things have to turn out this way?

Anyway, the world is changing now. Now when it comes to things of the world, companies and corporations and trying new ways to amuse teenagers. I have a very good example for you. However, this is a very lame one and it's by a very famous fast food chain, Burger King.

Look at this :

It's lame, don't you think so?

Especially when there are no fish bones in it. You'll be like, woah, fish bones. I can sue you if I choke on one. Then you think again, you won't win cause they have already won you. Next, you sit there and you take it as a joke.

Caution!

Now, I feel like I'm being warned of my surroundings, the surroundings of my blog now.

Mrs Tan has showed 3A my blog and she knows my URL, now even Mr Tchen knows about it.

I feel like I've been watched secretly, without knowing the identity of my visitors.

Despite all these, I'm still gonna buck up with more interesting posts. I'm not gonna let all these put me down. Haha, not saying that I'm afraid or anything, I just have to watch what I say very carefully now.

Watch this space cause I'm gonna blast it with pictures and comments tmr, so my public holiday would be occupied, but with first coming back from an overnight prayer meeting session.

It's gonna be cool and impactful! Watch me change!

Love,
Roderick

Lecture Worthwhile.

How I wish that I have teachers and lecturers like him throughout my whole learning journey. Adding on to that, if my Army sergeant or officer were to be him, I don't mind serving in the Army for the rest of my life.

Vblog soon?

I guess I'm gonna turn my blog into a videoblog (vblog) soon.

All of my recent posts have a video linked to youtube. Maybe I should consider setting up another one specially for videos.

Well, I got nth much to say today. I'll just let the videos do the talking. Actions speak louder than words, how true. However, this is action with audio, words that are audible.

If Actions speak louder than words, and with audio, it's an added advantage and imagine how mmuch impact just one video can make.

The media industry, the influence on people, the power and might that they have and owned.

Anyway, enjoy the following videos!

Terence playing More Than Words on the guitar. He's a darn good player and the skills that he has, it's self-taught!

Next, we have the Wallet man! Imagine your wallet having a heart and it bleeds the moment when you flip it. It has muscles and it can fly! How amazing is that?!

If that's not enough, you can try like, how should I describe it.. Purge you lips out in a way that it looks like a.. I don't know how to say it. In simple Singlish : Flip your upper lips up and move it up and down lah!

Do that with a friend next time and have a great time laughing about it. Trust me, it works!

Ray Charles - Drown In My Own Tears

Norah Jones - Drown In My Own Tears

Yeah, wanna share these two videos with you guys. Ray Charles is a great jazz singer, and one of his best songs is this - Drown In My Own Tears.

This really makes a good love song so for love birds out there, this is a song for you two. Haha.

The reason why I put these two videos here is that the guys could learn how to sing like Ray Charles and the girls could learn how to sing like Norah Jones.

Norah Jones's voice sounded perfect and great for this song.. I hope that my girlfriend or my wife in future would be able to sing this. My life then would be heaven.

Enjoy!

Friday, the ZzZzZ

Yeah, today's the Friday, the 13th!. Yeah, big deal. Haha. When I was younger I used to be afraid of this day, thinking of what I would break next. Now, nth has happened for the past 3 years.

I broke my English Teacher's globe ( a small but expensive one ) when I was in P5.

I broke a plate at home, when I was in P6.

In 2006, I did not break anything. Instead, I got myself into trouble. I made a bad, bad friend, called Boredom.

Planned to visit Vivocity to check out the mall and the view, but didn't cause I slept till 11. Result from overnight gaming.

My throat then started to crackle, a sign of getting a sore throat.

So what's the best remedy / solution? All the HOGC people give a shout out : HONEY LEMON DRINK!

This picture is taken from Sophia's blog.

I was lazy to take my own picture. Yeah, took a bus down to Parkway cause there's a branch there. The main office's located at Plaza Singapura, the one which I always go. You can't expect me to take a train down from my house to get that right?

I bought not 1, not 2, but 3 bottles. What I can be sure of is that most people would rather buy Bubble Tea than drink this. I once thought the craze of Bubble Tea would fade out, if not wrong it started out when I was still in Primary School. I was wrong.
On my way down, I encountered this :

Look at the license plate. I blurred out the first 3 letters to protect the identity of the car owner. Haha, so lame. Anyway, yeah, look at the license plate number. 4444. I thoought most people would try their best to avoid this number cause it's said to be a unlucky Chinese number.

Well, this person proved Chinese wrong. His car doesn't even have a scratch, a dent or even a bird shit on it. Who knows, the number might be a lucky one in a way.

I'm so hooked on to Dota now. Can't help but keep playing. I used to have a wrong perception about it ; That it's a stupid game and I will only play FPS game.

I feel like kicking myself in the butt now. I shall take back what I have said in the past. Haha.

If you haven't started playing it, go on, try it! It's not like I'm asking you to take drugs or smth, but if you feel you will get addicted to it or you already are, stop playing!

Remember, stop playing!

The World

Yeah, what a wonderful day yesterday was.

World Trade Centre & The Wedding Curse, 2 movies watched on the same day, especially with 3 great people. Great time. WTC's touching. I can't help but cry too.

Refer to
Amirul and he'll tell you the movie in great detail. From there, you will understand why it's such a touching and great movie.

I then left for 3C's chalet and I was late cause of the ending time of the second movie. And just to let you know, it's actually a horror movie but it ain't that scary. It's about this woman's wedding being cursed because there was a superstition that siblings of the same family can't get married at the same time or smth. The gap for each marriage must be at least 1 year. I don't really get the plot. They kept mentioning about this dead neighbour of the victim called Helen. Supposingly, she came back as a ghost to hunt them, but however, until now I still don't know who's Helen.

Yeah, going back to the chalet, I arrived late and to find everyone concentrating on their games. We have mahjong also.

Yeah, mahjong, others played Halo 2 and cards.

Yong Jie brought Halo 2 and another Xbox game called Conker. Well, if you were to see the outside cover of the box, it's actually 2 cute squirrels holding guns. That is already the irony. Now besides that, the game was rated sort of NC16, in a way it is because under those the age of 17 are not allowed to play. Wanna know how violent the game is?

Your enemy, also some cute animal, its head will pop off and disappear if you deliver a head shot. Bad Yong Jie. After all, we all appreciated his kindness for teaching us how to play guitar and I realised that it ain't easy as it looks. My painful wrists. Haha.

We didn't know what to do to pass time so we ended up playing Conker and Halo till 10.30, where there's this chinese show on Channel U, last episode.

Some drama-mama show of guys fighting each other using special powers. Now, that's dumb and so unrealistic. Well, you can always predict the ending of these kind of shows. You know, the evil one is destroyed, and the good lives happy ever after. Before that, there would always have a final battle between the good and the evil. This battle is driven by the hatred and the revenge-minded of the good one, cause the evil one has killed a loved one of the good one.

Sparked by revenge, they fight it out with each other and the good one wins. Always the same thing, getting bored. *yawn*

Yeah, that show ended around 11.30. Then it was a few rounds of Halo again where Yong Jie owned Lenny in the starting, Lenny fought back but Yong Jie won in the end. Halo's some cheating game. The first strategy in a mind of the player would be, " GET THE TANK " After getting that, you spray your ammo and canon cause they're unlimited anyway. You get your kills from there.

We had this rule that who slept first would have to buy food for the others cause most of us were hungry and needed supper. Haha, in the end everyone went together and the only food source that was kept alive and running was Mcdonald's. Fancy eating that early in the morning, 1 plus.

It then became a sharing and chatting session till 4am. Talking about personal experiences and stuff. Yeah, understood and learnt lots of things from all these. Imagine if I could do that all the nights, wahh, Life's great.

I finally saw the true Wei Rong, the keen-learner. He learnt guitar from Yong Jie the whole night till morning 6 am. All of us slept at 4 while the both of them stood all the way till 6 without catching a wink. You never know the real them until you spend a night with them.

All these ended, waking up from beauty sleep and having to leave. Sigh, chalets are just great and I love you guys.

Beat - What?

Exams are gonna end tmr so all of you shall see yourselves going wild after that. Plans have already been made a few days before tmr, so yeah, can feel the heat and what to expect over the next few days.

Giving my best shot for Physics tmr. Sigh, hope I do well this time. Formula's have been a good friend of my mind for the peast few hours, let's hope it stays this way. Or better, becomes its best friend.

A video to share with you all. There's actually a trend if you realise, that beatboxing is now becoming more and more popular. All thanks to Myeong Wen ( is this the correct spelling? ). He looks Chinese but he's Korean. The only thing about him is that he loves beatboxing so much that he keeps doing it and getting punished by teachers for disrupting the lesson. Oh yes, almost every auditorium lesson he does that.

That's Bobby Mcferrin and you can see that how marvellous his beatboxing is. From what I know, the throat thing that he did, it's called " Tuvan Throat Singing "

Hope that it's a great inspiration for all those beatboxes out there.

Gee, I can already think of so many names just within a second.

I was that man.

To my one and only,
Cherie

When a man loves a woman
Can't keep his mind on nothin'else
He'd trade the world
For a good time he's found

If she is bad, he can't see it
She can do no wrong
Turn his back on his best friend
If he puts her down

When a man loves a woman
Spend his very last dime
Trying to hold on to what he needs
He'd given up all his comfort
And sleep out in the rain
If she said that's the way
It ought to be

When a man loves a woman
I give you everything I've got
Trying to hold on to your precious love
Baby, baby please don't treat me bad

When a man loves a woman
Deep down in his soul
She can bring him such misery
If she is playing him for a fool
He's the last one to know
Loving eyes can never see

Yes when a man loves a woman
I know exactly how he feels
'cause, baby, baby, baby
I am a man.

P.S : I will nvr forget those times, those times with you too. I was that man, during that year.

Love,
Roddy Doddy

Spot it

If you're smart enough you would have realised that the pictures in my previous post about the correction tape..

They have been doctored ; gone through a process of editing. I took out details from the orginal one.

Are you smart enough to spot?

It is also on this day which I found out about something. Rumours, rumours, rumours. Here I go again, getting to know about stuff of what people bitch and talk about me.

Oh wait, I ain't angry. As a matter in fact I'm glad. Know why? At least I have proven to him/her/them, that I live a life, a much better life. I have a real purpose in life, to do something great for God and not go around talking about other people's lives.

Know what, just say all what you want to say and get back to me when you're done. Ain't this a better way to settle things out? Besides, I settle and sort things out face to face with you. You know, we can talk about how small-minded you are, how pathetic your life is that leads you to the need to spread stuff around and gain joy from doing so.

I live my life the way I want it to be. I don't live for you. I live for God.

Light of the world, salt of the earth.

I'm blended in alright.

And to this particular person or the group of people out there, seriously, I feel for you. I don't know what's your motive or reason for the spread. For fun or trying to get back at me, I don't know.

However, if you're reading this, don't treat this post like a bomb from me shooting back at you or taking it as a threat. I looked at the cohort, with images of everybody's faces flashing through my mind, and I thought to myself, " Who's living such a pathetic life? Poor thing, having to resort to this kind of stuff to make themselves happy a lil. "

Yeah, and to end off this post, this is a note to you : You can continue doing what you're doing so, but take note of a few things. I will always feel sad for you for living such a pathetic life.

I wonder of you're feeling right now if you're reading this. All I can say is that, if you got the guts to do what you did, then don't be such a wimp by hiding.

That's all for now.

Remember, I always feel for you.

Papers

I know I shouldn't be here right now.. But hey, I need a break too right?

Everyone knows it's the examinations period now. I so screwed for a few papers. One or two only, I hope. I asked around, and I realised that I was the only one who wrote about 2 and a half pages of answers for Geography Elective today.

I shall not listen to Mrs Yeo anymore, stupid advice. People who did that paper should know that the question on industry was so much easier than the agriculture one, for at least the first part of each question..

I could have assured my first 3 marks in the paper by naming the other factors for the industry question if I studied that rather than writing my ass of for the agriculture question, having to describe the trend which I'm sure that I won't be able to get that full 3 marks. Ain't that great? Teachers who give stupid advice which misled us. I got to blame myself too, for being naive enough to actually believe.

Stress from studying, so I ended up getting into a fight with Faizzah like everyday, fighting over that fan which was and still is, next to us. Fighting over the speed of it and where to blow. I know it's kind of lame but, fun though. Amalina would be suffering behind.

Faizzah also mentioned that I was like sniffing during the exam. Look, I'm down with flu all right? Ha, I myself find it irritating also. When I wake up in the morning, everything's fine, but when I enter the hall for the exam it starts again. I've liked used more than 3 packets of tissue so far?

My mum gave me that lame tissue packets just because I said I wanted to bring some to the examination hall because of my illness. One is Bugs Bunny and I forgot the other. There are not only 2 of these, I have like 3, 4 more in my bag. I would be like the Tissue Paper Man for the next few days. Even Tania asked me for a one when hers ran out.

Putting that aside, studying did really got me thinking. Not the future, but surprisingly, the past.
Most of you all know my past in lower sec was just a big size kid, who wasn't matured enough to understand some things and got myself into stupid situations. But heck, here I am now, doing well and fine.

However, there were also fond memories about the past..

Those were the dumb times where I would get sort of bullied by people sitting around me.. They, you know, "helped" me decorate my table-top, write and draw stuff on my correction tape cover and refill..

If you can't picture and imagine how traumatised I was, I'll show you.

Time has passed and yeah, I missed those times. I wished I had my stuff drawn and written by them again. Just recently, Lynette helped me decorate my calculator. She's an artist, she drew my name so nice that I wished that there's a shop somewhere in Singapore which could help me to a laser-print so that the exact drawing would be on my mp3 player, calculater and best of all, on my computer. So personalised right?

Not only that, I had greetings from it also.

Yeah, you get what I mean? It was someone's idea to write that so that when it's time for me to change my refill, I would open the cover and see this greeting. Not bad right?

However, my mind doesn't pick up things that way because of the past trauma I had, whenever someone borrows my correction tape and uses it for quite some while, with a marker in hand..

I know what they're doing.
